Shaver series 3000Wet or Dry electric shaver

The razor is super easy to use. Cuts wonderfully. Very smooth shave. Low noise impact. Handles 3 day stubble well.

It's easy to use, smooth and gives a first class shave. I particularly like to use it with shaving gel for sensitive skin as there is no after shave burning. It is much quieter than my previous shavers but gives a close shave quicker than a dry electric shave. It charges quickly and hols a charge well so you can take it on a few days away without having to take the charger. It fits all the awkward corners of my face easily and efficiently. It is easy to keep clean and doesn't seem to clog up with bristles and shaving soap. An all round very good shaver.

After owning various other Phillishave shavers over the years this one is different. When you first charge it and switch it on you have the impression the battery is flat. But unlike previous shavers the cutters on the aquashave rotate slower than the previous shavers I’ve used. Hopefully this will mean cutters stay sharp for longer? It does do a good close shave if your face is dry but if you are sweaty or wet it doesn’t work as well. I like the lift up head at the push of a button and being waterproof I run it under the hot tap to wash it clean and leave it open to dry on the basin top. This should save having to dismantle the cutter head to clean them individually. It interesting they don’t come with a carry pouch or cleaning brush! I wish they would make replacement cutters cheaper as they are often not a lot cheaper than replacing the complete shaver.

Some years ago I had an electric shaver that fitted perfectly to the profile of my face. I used that shaver daily until it broke. I gave no thought to the next electric shaver purchased but I was aware that the shaver, and the next one, and the next one never felt as comfortable as my old shaver. Recently I had to borrow a shaver from a friend and suddenly I felt a comfortable shaving experience. I had to have that model shaver so bought one and now I enjoy shaving once again.

The shaver is very quiet, very smooth on the face and gives a very close shave.

My new Philips shaver has a very nice close cut which doesn't need too many pass-overs. The head seems to move over the contours of my face and neck efficiently.
