All in all an excellent piece of kit that is well made, robust, functional and does exactly what it says on the tin. However, the pressure sensor is far too... well... sensitive. If you are a normal person, without any impairments, then you know how to hold a toothbrush. But the pressure sensor on this is pure nanny state. Please update the firmware to remove it.

Just wanted to say, ive had this for 2 days and it is the Rolls Royce of T Brushes, If you care about your mouth you will invest i this.

I really like this toothbrush. It does give a "superior" clean, especially when compared with a manual toothbrush. My only criticism is that the handle gets slippery when it gets wet with water and toothpaste. Easily done. Although it does a superior job of cleaning, you still need to floss. That's a given with any tooth brushing. And the app is a bit gimmicky however, it's a good external prompt to do all teeth, take your time and not apply too much pressure. It's expensive but what does it cost to see an endodontist or periodontist? If using a great electric toothbrush saves one tooth from extensive restorative work then it's worth it. And if a few people in the household are using it at least twice a day, the money outlay is worth it.

The individualized cleaning/polishing/gum care programs via the app are brilliant and make dental care a new indoor sport for me! My husband and i have just replaced our previous Sonicare which is now at our holiday house so we can continue thorough cleaning on weekends! This new Smart machine adds a layer of feedback on cleaning technique that allows you to feel confident that you are taking care of your teeth as best as you can away from the dentist!

Had two toothbrushes that stopped working. When I called customer service, the experience was just amazing. The representative was very friendly. In 2 weeks I got the replacement.

I like the On/Off button separate from Mode selection

I don’t understand! The brush is Bluetooth connected but when I turn on my toothbrush, the application doesn’t open by itself.

I’ve use Sonicare products for over 5 years. Since I started my hygienist has been very impressed with how clean and plaque-free my teeth are. Note: I did not use the app function since I do not use apps. Sounds good as a learning tool though. The change of charger to a glass is great. My biggest problem with all other models was how icky the charger got. Constant cleaning of the base is required and it still looks grungy after a while. The clear glass can be washed regularly to keep it sparkling clean. I like the visual signal for “too much pressure” more than the physical because there is a lot of vibration going on and I don’t always feel/hear the signal. The brush head chip will automatically select the proper mode to use. Overall I love this toothbrush. The change of charger and travel case is well thought out.
