Good, but unreliable

Potentially this is a good device, but over years I've been having some problems with this soundbar. After about two years of owning a mechanical problem the sliding DVD door failing to open or close started, now that the door doesn't work at all. Soon after that the device developed another malfunction, it would become completely unresponsive to commands, such as volume, source selection, power on/off. Even after attempted software updates
