The Philips All-in-One 8000 Series is fast and efficient at getting to steam which mean you can start steaming instantly. From opening the box till set up through to use, you can be ready to go in under five minutes. Assembly of the Philips All-in-One 8000 Series is unbelievably simple and straightforward. The Philips All-in-One 8000 Series has wheels in the base so is easily maneuvered around like a trolley. I find it easy to use in the upright position to steam jacket and shirts. When I lay the board out to steam I am wary of the pressure I put on the board as I feel it becomes less stable. With time I am sure I’ll adjust to it. I always use to wonder who those people were that iron pillow cases and now here I am steaming my pillow cases at a every sheet change. It has become my new obsession. The continuous steam is no word of a lie once you start there is no down time and you can keep going until your hearts content. The tank size is massive and I have never had to refill it during a steaming session. It’s so quick and easy to start up weather you have one item to steam or a basket full. The fact that it kills 99.9% of bacteria has me reaching for it again and again. Like I said initially it’s an item I didn’t know I needed until I had it. I am super impressed with the Philips All-in-One 8000 Series although please keep in mind I have never had or used a steamer before so didn’t know what I was missing out on. I thoroughly recommend the Philips All-in-One 8000 Series based on my experience with it. my favorite way to use the Philips All-in-One 8000 Series is with items hanging off it on their coat hanger ready to go in the cupboard.

From first unboxing this product it was clear it was a solid quality product. With its easy to use one step hinge you can turn this from upright mode (with a built in hanging hook) to a traditional ironing board. And if that doesn’t work it can be set at any angle in between! It has a handy holder for the steam wand when not in use, amazing wheels to easily pack it away when done, and a decent size water tank so no need for constant fill ups. From using this for a few weeks now it’s easy to see just how much of a time saver it is, easily halving the time it traditionally takes to iron shirts and pants. With a variety of steam settings it’s easily able to penetrate multiple layers of fabric making it a breeze to get through the laundry. Those tricky areas around collars and seams are no match for this steamer, with it making light work of this difficult area. The steam wand is large and easy to hold and brings plenty of continuous steam, ready to tackle even the biggest of laundry baskets.

Having returned to the office with the daily chore of ironing shirts and pants, the Philips All-in-One 8000 series has completely changed my ironing routine. The simplicity and convenience of the integrated multi-angle ironing board allow for various ironing and steam positions depending on the clothing article, such as shirts, pants and jackets. The integration of an ironing board, steamer and iron devices means it’s a space saver, meaning no more lugging around a separate ironing board or storing the iron away. Placing the foldable top hook at the top of the ironing board effectively allows you to steam iron business shirts or other garments quickly and efficiently. The triple precision tips make it easy to remove wrinkles on my shirts with the combination of the continuous stream of steam and the OptimalTEMP technology. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whilst I have friends that speak highly of the smaller type hand held garment steamers they own, I have always stuck with my traditional style iron as I believed it was the best option for me and my family circumstances. As a single father of two teenage girls however, I was finding the 'traditional' iron was often causing more problems than it fixed. I honestly have no idea about the various types of fabrics that make up a modern teenage girls wardrobe other than to say that they are expensive and burn way too easily if you choose the wrong setting (which I did most times - who actually reads those care labels). On top of the constant angst about wrecked tops/pants etc that I was getting from the kids, it was costing me an absolute fortune to replace clothes not to mention having to try and clean the iron! I absolutely jumped at the chance to trial the Philips All-In-One when it was offered. Honestly, I cannot believe it has taken me this long to get one. I know it sounds like a terrible cliché, however this unit is quite literally changing my life one piece of clothing at a time. I haven't burnt or damaged one piece of clothing since I've started using it and it actually does a better job on the types of clothes that teenagers like to wear than my traditional iron. I'm finding that I'm using it more and more on my clothes as well. The built in ironing board is really handy and is one less thing you have to worry about compared to a traditional iron. The unit somehow knows exactly what temperature is appropriate so that clothing is not damaged and you can easily chose what level of steam you want to use. Initial set up was relatively easy although a review of the instructions by Philips to make them easier to understand wouldn't go astray. Heating up time is super quick and the little heat proof glove is really useful. Here is the actual game changer though - My kids LOVE using it as well which means more free time for me!!!!! The buttons on the cleaner feel premium, the head is well constructed and can effectively get out all the creases. Being able to change the amount of steam that comes out, and the eco mode is very easy to use. My only downside is that the stand feels very light and like cheap plastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips All-in-One 8000 series turned the weekly ironing from a long, and tedious task to an easier and quick task. I loved the integrated ironing board that can be used in a variety of angles and the set up was pretty easy and straight forward. It is a real space saver and doesn't take up that much space since it's tall rather than long making storage easy. The steamer heats up really fast and has a large 2L water tank, I only needed to refill it once during my long ironing session, which was way better than my steam iron. Apparently there's also no need to descale the water tank like my other iron and hence no annoying reminder beeps. The Philips All-in-One 8000 comes with an innovative engine that prevent build-up of scale, this feature is an absolute godsend. The All-in-one steamer will not give you crisp lines that regular irons provide, howver saying that it's actually quite decent and the steamer effectively removes creases and wrinkles. Honestly it did not make a difference to me because the results were similar expcept for crisp lines. A big plus was that with the garment steamer my clothes were never left damp compared to steam irons ,where you get patches of damp fabric. The steamer head just takes a bit to get used to but after the more you use it the easier and faster it becomes. It has 6 steaming modes from Eco to Continuous modes, these can be conveniently selected from the handle with the press of a button. The foldable top hook makes it so easy and faster for me to iron any clothes especially long dress and office shirts. I tried the garment steamer on some of my hard-to-iron clothes as was satisfied to watch the creases melt away. Overall, I am so happy with this machine and would recommend it. Never thought Ironing could be fun, easy and fast but this steamer iron really makes my life so much easier now.

The initial setup is a dream; simple parts that interlock quickly and easily. The only issue is the subtle indication that Phillips expects users to fill the tank with distilled water (or at least a mix with ordinary tap water) thankfully anyone who has a heat-pump dryer will have ample access to distilled water. There isn’t much I can say to the ironing quality other than it performs at the same level as my expensive conventional steam iron - however - where this comes into it’s own is when you consider the complete ironing package; the iron board is always the most annoying aspect. The All-In-One Garment Steamer doesn’t require the same struggle as conventional ironing does. No more worrying about cord trip hazards, no more worrying about board placement; just pull out, click up, and start steaming. My ironing routine has been forever changed for the better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GC628/80 8000 Series All-In-One Garment Steamer is a testament that Phillips makes innovative and very versatile products. This sturdy unit was very easy to assemble, and get up and running. The unit is on wheels so carting it around is very simple even on carpet. After filling the large tank with water, it was ready to steam in under two minutes. The board is adjustable in height and can also be adjusted vertically and horizontally for traditional ironing methods. I preferred steaming my shirts vertically, this seemed easier for me at the time. The more I use it the easier and faster this has become. It has 6 steaming modes from Eco to Continuous modes, these can be conveniently selected from the handle. I got great results from the 3rd steam setting and the water lasted for over a full washing load. I tested a wide range of deferent fabrics and didn’t have any issues steaming any, though cotton seems to be easier to steam and get a better pressed look. This steamer didn’t give me the pressed iron sharp lines that a traditional iron gives, but overall, it did a fantastic job at bewrinkled all garments I used it on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a week of use, I can say that this is my favorite ironing device! Stands very sturdy on the floor and even on a carpet which was a surprise. The quality of craftmanship of the boiler and the handheld steamer is great. The cloth of the ironing table is one of a very good quality but I think the table it's a bit more plastic and looks that can't take a lot of pressure if you use it horizontally. Another point I want to mention is the hose needs a metal spring or spiral at the base which is connected. I thing after some time of use it will fail. Other than these two small suggestions the GC628 worth its money and I really enjoying using it. My wife even tried it on the curtains and the results were amazing with just one pass. Good amount of water capacity and a wide selection of steam amount. Very practical and it take so little space at the corner of the room or laundry. Very happy with it and highly recommended!
