I did quite a bit of online research and this had good reviews, I ended up buying. My research paid off. I was a little worried that 10mm which is the max setting would be too short, for me it’s perfect. I watched a lot of online videos to see how trimming was done at home, glad I did as I followed the advise and it’s all worked out well. I have hair clippers, it’s all about the head angle with the beard clippers. Best use hair clippers on head and buy a beard trimmer like this. Great results and will pay for itself in no time not going to a barbershop

Good battery life, cuts well and being able to use it in the shower is convenient.

In a world full of cheaply made and expensively marketed appliances, this is an anomaly. Extremely well made, sturdy and functional. Does exactly what it says on the box and by the look of it will be doing it for many years to come.

I purchased this beard trimmer for myself about 18 months ago. I have a short beard, 2-3mm and with the metal beard trimmer this has the best product I have used. It cuts perfectly, the incremental depth of cuts are perfect as is the long battery charge. Would definitely recommend this product for short beards and would certainly buy again if necessary.

My previous Phillips trimmer was excellent and still works but battery life was finally starting to go. This was a fairly big leap cost wise but if it lasts, it’s worth it. It’s a big unit but does usefully freestand. Battery life appears to be near infinite and it does a very decent job; you need to be slightly careful not to snag your skin on the metal cutters but no nicks so far. My daughter also did a great job if cutting my hair with it (instructions say don’t use it on hair; not sure why not?). So a very solid thing that should last many years and looks cool too. Job done.

Have used this trimmer a few times now. It is easy to adjust gives a neat even trim and is comfortable to use. Wish I'd bought one sooner rather than persevering with cheaper brands

Expensive but very pleased with the purchase - very solid build and sharp precise cut. Holds charge well. First trimmer without a vacuum trap, but less mess than I anticipated. Only slight criticism would be that it does not cut quite as close as I would like on the lowest setting. It is difficult to trim a moustache cleanly and accurately.

Solid construction. Nice weight to give good control. Smooth action and great battery life
