Great water purifier. Water tastes great. Just fill your own jug and put in fridge for cold water. Instant Hot water no problems. Nice and simple setup.

I purchased this water station to improve the quality of water not just for taste but to remove impurities. I was surprised how the water tastes so much better than the jug filter. An added bonus is a quick cup of tea or hot water for cooking and no scale in our water bottles. We are not using the cool water function as it generates a gentle but noticeable sound and some mild additional heat. One jug in the fridge and one on the station. I have tripled my water intake.

What can I say about this unit? It produces water that is delicious and goes down so smooth like silk. I haven't stopped drinking copious amounts of water daily since I got it last month.

We have had this Philips RO water filter for about a month now, and very happy with it. Very happy with the look feel and quality, was also easy to set up,. Love the instant hot/cold water features including volume adjustment. It comes with 2 x jugs which we keep one in the fridge to fill up the kids' bottles in the mornings. Easy detachment of the jug also allows a quick refill of our coffee machine. It has all the required sensors to do its thing including automatically refilling the water jug from its water tank at the back, and sensors to let you know re. maintenance required. Mind you the only regular maintenance really is the refilling of the 5L water tank at the back, which is easy to do. Most importantly the water quality and taste is fantastic. Would definitely recommend this product for those who don't want the hassle of a built in RO water filtration system, want instant hot/cold water, and don't mind placing this on a bench/elsewhere that is close to a power point (cable length is roughly 1m). Overall, a really fantastic product, well done Philips.

Hot and cold on demand is good, but a few thigns just came in below expectations. 1) The hot is not boiled, only 95c, so it cannot truly replace a kettle 2) Despite a large water tank (which is heavy and hard to put in place), it needs refilling when at 1/3 capacity. The tank has a divider meaning the bottom 1/3rd of water cannot be drawn on... why not just have a smaller tank without the divider? 3) If you have a separate kitchen the noise is similar to a small fridge compressor running (I assume thats the chiller) and it runs a lot, but as most Australian houses have the kitchen and living space as one, this noise is a bit intrusive. I was expecting this so not a big problem, but you should see one running in person before deciding whether its an issue for you. 4) cartridge filters work out to $250~ per 1000 litres and it is one of those devices where it just asks for replacements when it's passed so much water, so be aware you're signing up for water that now costs 25c per litre! This is quite expensive when your whole family is using it, and would suggest you keep a kettle for boiling large water for cooking etc. I suppose it depends how bad your water really is?
